Black boys need to know where they come from. The rest follows.
When you love somebody, you tell them who they are. I call it lineage restoration as restorative practice. Schools already use restorative practices. Mine restores what comes first: a boy's knowledge of where he comes from. That's my research, and it's how I raise my own sons.
